Since no one really ever tells me what to do at work anymore and a lot of the time I just spend delving deeper into the internet and doing nothing productive, I’ve taken it upon myself to create a database of stock photos for the company. I was supposed to be working on converting articles from a newsletter into blog form and since the photos used weren’t our property, I asked if I should take some photos to be used. When they said yes, I don’t think they realized I was going to spend two days (so far) setting up a make-shift studio and experimenting with different props and lighting and just having the best time. Ah, sometimes, I love my job.
